I have been obsessed with drop-waist dresses ever since I wore this beauty last summer. When I spotted this dress at ASOS a few months back I just knew I needed it and my cousins wedding a few weeks ago was my perfect excuse for the purchase. Once I had found the dress I was in need of the perfect heels to match. After a tiring search, I scored these PLV ones on super sale on Gilt.com(on the site today!)

I had a great time at the wedding and promise to be back to regularly posting :)

Holy cow it is almost July! I seriously can't believe it. This year has flown by and it still hasn't hit me that is really summer because I can still wear long sleeved shirts like this outside.

I lived in the dress and heels this past weekend. I am all about comfort and practicality and surprisingly these wedges fit that bill. Add this awesome scalloped edged shift dress and it equaled the perfect outfit for a cookout, walk in the park, AND a night out on the town. Talk about versatile!

A fun colorful/printed skirt + a comfy graphic tee + patterned flats = my summer look.

With the amounts of shoes I've added to my collection recently, I find myself grabbing for these guys almost every day. I just love the unexpected pattern and how it can really just add a fun element to any outfit I throw on.

Side note: So, I am kind of excited about this tropical storm Andrea (well my name is pronounced ON-DRE-YUH but this storm is as close as I think I will ever get). Ever since I was little I strangely would look out for the storm lists and see when my name(or similar name) was coming up but typically A names aren't large enough storms for news coverage, but this year it's a storm that's hitting the East Coast as we speak. But I will be having a little Tropical Storm Andrea celebration this weekend, because you know, when will I be a storm again?!

Like I said in my last post, I went to visit my sister for Memorial Day Weekend. On Sunday afternoon I threw on my red, white & blue to stroll around this cute downtown area with my sister. The weather was perfect and it was a really great day. My sister also enjoyed taking reign over using my dslr. I think for never really working with one before, she did a great job.
