Guys, it's June!

This year is really flying by and I know this summer is going to go quickly.

I always have so many plans for the summer that I feel that I blink and then it's October.

So this summer, I really want to try and savor every minute of it and spend as much of it outside as possible.

For Memorial Day, my roommate and I had a last minute get together (as mentioned here).

It was awesome to have so many friends from different groups get together last minute to all celebrate the holiday together.

While there was a slight incident with the homemade cucumber salad (a whole peppercorn can ended up in the bowl - yikes!) everything else went smoothly.

We moved the festivities from our little house to my roommates bosses' house which is why these cuddly Rottweilers joined in.

I had been eyeing this Western inspired belt from Asos for a few months but had been hesitant to pull the trigger.  So, when I spotted this single version at Urban I got very excited.

It is such a classic belt and the detail in the buckle has me thinking up every outfit under the sun to wear it with.

These shorts have slowly become a favorite of mine.

There is no denying that they are a little on the short/revealing side but I love the cut and how comfortable I feel in them.

Pairing them with this loose slightly sheer blouse is perfect for warmer weather this summer.

And did I mention that they are on sale right now for only $34?
