Don’t you love nights that end unexpectedly?
Friday night I made some last minute plans with friends for a Happy Hour and then “going wherever the wind takes me” attitude afterwords and it was unexpectedly awesome.
In college, I used to be a very “go with the flow” person.
I planned tons of last minute trips to visit friends in different cities, rarely made set-in-stone plans with anyone until 5 minutes before, and never worried about having any solid plans because I knew I would have a great time no matter what I did.
Since I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed my spontaneity has slowly dwindled and it is something that I am trying to slowly get back.
So like I mentioned I threw on my recent go-to outfit to have a little adventure.
This white blazer has been in my closet for at least 3 years (last worn here and here) but I have only worn less than a handful of times until recently.
I love the double breasted blazer look (I recently snagged this one - coming to the blog soon!)
That I can’t get enough of and have worn some sort of variation of this outfit the last few weeks.
This bodysuit from Free People is made of the perfect stretchy material that makes the plunge not so scary since I know the ladies are not going to be moving.
The constant weekend rain has made it hard to wear the majority of my shoes so I have started calling these Tibi booties my “rain shoes”.
I know this sounds completely ridiculous but they are cuter than my hunter boots for a night out on the town.
Even though I am trying to put a tone back on my excess spending for nights out I hope I keep up this last minute plan making.

I really love how the belt ties together the look & the white blazer is a great layering piece for summer.

Always such awesome style from you. Loving the distressed black jeans with your boots, belt, and blazer. I need a blazer like this in my life!
