2 weeks ago, a few friends and I attended the Virginia Gold Cup Races in The Plains, VA.
The weather was perfect, the drinks were flowing, funny hats were worn, and a good time was had.
Thanks to my friend Jillian, we saw few horses because we camped out in a tent on Member's Hill where there was plenty of food and wine to entertain us.
I had such a great time, I plan on making the trip back for the fall race.
If you haven't been, I highly recommend making it out to this rural part of VA.
It's not officially summer until you make it to a race!
