I always look forward to Fall because things "slow down" but that is never really the case. I always find myself planning last minute trips that keep me busy. A few weeks ago I found myself back at my Alma Mater for what was supposed to be a good match up, Virginia Tech vs. Clemson.
We did lose the game but that did not put a damper on the weekend at all. For the majority of my time, I was in the countryside on the outskirts of town in a cabin with some of my closet friends just catching up and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
I lived in Blacksburg for over 4 years and the weather can be a little cooky. It was projected to be 76 during the day but mid 40's at night. Planning on being out all day for that type of weather can be difficult but I defaulted for a super casual outfit that would work with my jean jacket.
Madewell and J.Crew have some of my favorite tees so that is why I opted for this slightly faded maroon striped tee from Madewell. I have had a great love for scarfs but have not snagged a non-silk one in awhile. I chose this blue one that paired well with the tee but will also mesh well with most items in my closet.
