The summer and year have really flown by.
While I didn't have too many solid plans at the beginning, things have slowly fallen into place that has made Summer 2017 full of so much love and happiness.

This is what I wore to the last engagement party of the summer (I had three in total) in Richmond, VA.  One of my oldest friends, elementary school, college roommates and beyond, got engaged earlier in the summer.  They are a great fun pair and their theme for the party hosted by the Maid of Honor was "Fiesta!"

I knew I had to break out a cool outfit for the festivities.
I was very very tempted to rent this dress from Rent The Runway but ended up finding this perfect jumpsuit on sale a month earlier.

A friend had worn this jumpsuit to a wedding we had both attended earlier in the summer and I thought it was amazing.  I loved the straps.  Even though I am not normally a fan of partial sheer bottoms, but I really loved the way these were constructed.
They were flowy and unless you really noticed each leg separately, you would never guess this was a jumpsuit.

Not that I ever doubted it wouldn't be fun, but it ended up being one of the most fun nights I've had this summer.  We ate lots of tacos, hit a pinata filled with ring pops, and danced so much my feet hurt the next morning.
