If you know me you have seen me wear these jeans. a. lot.

My love for high-waist anything has only grown over the last year or so.

Skirts, shorts, and especially denim - I have an addiction.

I think I have chatted about how I love Current Elliott jeans a ton here since I fist snagged my favorite pair (seen here).

The Stiletto silhouette is really the perfect fit for me. 

The ankle opening is the perfect width and the length hits just at the ankle for my 5'4" frame.

Since falling in love with higher rise denim, I find myself always leaning 

towards wearing jeans on most occasions. 

I have more of a casual style in general so finding denim styles that fit and flatter my body PLUS that are insanely comfortable only makes me never want to wear anything else.

The cooler summer weather in DC has only been aiding my jean wearing tendencies.

This particular pair is the Super High Waist Stiletto (just for reference these are a 10" rise).

They hit right at my natural waist and slightly give off a "mom jean" vibe but honestly I do not care.

I wore this outfit to meet up with a close friend after work for a few drinks and 

catch up a few weeks ago.

We went to a newer restaurant/whiskey bar that opened recently in the 

Rosslyn area called Barley Mac.

The drinks were good and the company was even better.

 This top I had forgotten about and grabbed from the back of my closet and was pleasantly surprised with the look.
