I am sure you are pretty tired of hearing about the philip lim x target collection so I will refrain from any comments about my excitement over scoring this bag in stores the day after the debut.  

This outfit was not intentional, but I have a feeling I will be wearing this repeatedly this fall.  I love the un-tucked oxford with the cropped faux leather jacket.  It's a great casual yet put together look for anything from a chilly morning brunch to running errands around town.  The key to the comfort is adding a comfortable heel or wedge, and this interesting pair I scooped at DSW last year does the trick for me.

If you follow me on Instagram you know I was in New York for a wedding this past weekend.  It was amazingggggg.  Everything was so elegantly decorated and the food was delicious.

Faviana asked me a few weeks ago if I would be interested in wearing one of their dresses and knew that this wedding was the PERFECT place to wear it to.  The dress was beyond perfect for the occasion.  The color was such a perfect shade of green and the sweetheart cut was flattering.  Oh, and did I mention dancing with the loose fabric twirling around me was my favorite part?  Ok, well it was. Faviana knows how to make a dress.

All in all, I had a perfect date and the perfect dress, what more could a girl ask for?

After a VERY long Saturday that consisted of a wedding AND an engagement party, I welcomed Sunday's warm weather and no plans.  DJ & I grabbed some lunch and then headed to this lake near his house.  We just walked around and enjoyed the scenery & beautiful weather.  

By the end of the walk 2 1/2 mile walk around the lake, we were ready to dive head first into our new Netflix shows, Orange Is The New Black and Breaking Bad.

Telling by the wacky weather, I believe we are falling back in to summertime temps around here.  I would prefer if the humidity and high 90 temps would stay away so I could wear my oxfords and these printed pants a little bit more.

My apologies for being less than attentive to this little site.  Since I have been opting for the most simplistic/boring outfits lately you can understand my lack of desire to take pictures of them, but with my favorite season ahead of me I am back!  

This skirt is one that I stalked at Zara until it was a more reasonable price a few months ago.  Besides the unique drop-waist effect that is happening with it, the fabric is what I really love (doesn't show wrinkles!).
