A few weekends ago it was a friends birthday out in DC and I was tired of wearing my go-to denim for a night out.
I grabbed this fun skirt from a the Peter Pilotto collab last year and a crop top to hit the town with my friends.
I have been into the crop top since last year and this year it has become a step up above obsession.
Are you guys just as obsessed as I am with this this trend?!

This outfit is a perfect #throwbackthursday outfit.

I haven't worn these bootcut jeans in years but felt the urge to thrown them on a few weeks ago for Casual Friday at work.

I was surprised at how comfortable they were and how well they worked with the light chambray.

I am a staunch skinny jeans girl, but may be eyeing some new bootleg/flared jeans to add to my denim stack this year.

I had seen Keepsake pop up on my radar more and more and was so intrigued by this Australian Label that I was very excited when I saw the dress pop up on a SUPER sale on Piperlime a few months ago.
I was beyond pleasantly surprised  with the cut, fit, material,  print, I mean everything. 
I have not only become obsessed with this great dress but also obsessed with the brand.
I was very excited to wear it to a good friend from high schools wedding in Richmond, VA a few weeks ago.

I hope to be adding another piece to my wardrobe soon.

Next week I am heading to Florida for a little girls trip with my mom.
Since I have only made it to the beach less than a handful of times in the last few years, I am just dreaming on how to spice up my beach wardrobe.
There are so many pieces I have been eyeing and possibly sneaking into my carry-on next week (like this bikini, this hat, and these slides).
I love the slides as a nicer alternative to flip flops and since I am obsessed with white this season, I have been eyeing so many white slides (lusting over these joie ones). 
I need a new topper because I smashed my old panama hat last summer and have been stalking my local F21 for this one but have had no luck.

spring trend 2015 : suede

There are so many trends this year that I completely love, but for my last installment of spring trend  I am chatting about suede.  I had been looking every where for the perfect suede piece, but found that everything was too pricey and I didn't love the silhouette.
I ran into my local H&M a few weeks ago and saw these shorts for under $10.  
With suede (suede inspired) pieces being everywhere this season I had to showcase it.
I love the loose fitting of these shorts and how they are the perfect neutral to any spring outfit.  Have you jumped on the suede bandwagon yet?!.

I am always eager to learn about new brand and sites to shop.  
So, when ifchic reached out to me to participate in their #ifchic24 event I jumped at the chance.

So here is the deal with ifchic's monthly event #ifchic24 :
By logging on to ifchic.com and you can earn up to 6 coins daily. 
A coin equals $1 and YES that comes out to around a free $180 a month!
So, on the 24th of every month they have the #ifchic24 event  where you can spend all of your coins you've collected over the month.

After the event, your coins reset for the next month but you shouldn't worry about that because it is easy to spend.  Their array of products is right up my alley, great classic pieces with a modern edge, so the only hard thing for me during the event was what to choose!

For the March #ifchic24 event, I snagged these amazing Cameo wedges and this Elliatt dress (another shirtdress!).  
They arrived quickly, beautifully packaged, and have aided in my addiction to white this season.

I already have over 60 coins this month and I am counting down until this months event.

bridesmaid dresses via weddington way

My wedding season already kicked off with my sisters wedding last month.  I have friends wedding this weekend and I still have one ahead of me in August.  
That particular wedding is for one of my best friends and I have the honor of being a bridesmaid.  I am extra excited to be in my first bridal shower where we all get to wear a bridesmaid dress of our choice in Navy.  

I absolutely LOVE this idea!

I like that every individual bridesmaid gets to bring her distinct personality to the bridal party and choose a dress that fits her body type.

The bride created an account on Weddington Way where all of her bridesmaids could all collect dress ideas and actually purchase them (bridesmaids dresses can be found HERE).  

I love the fact that they even have an option for mix and match bridal parties so you can browse all the options at once in your chosen color.

I found so many that I loved, that I was spending endless time on the site trying to find the perfect dress.

I finally pulled the trigger on an option and am completely in love with it and can't wait to wear it!

spring trend 2015 : the bucket bag

This year is all about the bucket bag and I blame Mansur Graviel (which sells out immediately everywhere when restocked)for starting it all.

Though I am thoroughly coveting one of the classic bags I am happy I snagged this Old Navy version for under $15 a few months back.

I am not one to lean towards faux leather bags, however the soft synthetic, shape, and the sale price hooked me.

Sorry (I'm not sorry?) for posting these jeans so much, but I just can't help it!

I like to show you guys what I actually wear and I have been basically living in these Madewell jeans since I snagged them in the fall. 
I love how there is give in the fabric, the mid rise is perfect, and they actually feel like jeans not leggings.
BUT the real kicker for me, is that they are perfect length for my 5'4"frame so no alterations!
