If you saw my Instagram post from this past weekend, I moved into a my first solo apartment.
While I am still adjusting to being the big change of no roommates, I am really focused at making this place a home.
I have been dreaming of decorating since making the decision to moving in by myself and have been going pinterest crazy with items that I have spotted throughout the last few weeks.
Above are some above items that I have been eyeing, some waaaay more affordable than others.
I can't wait to pull things together and share the final product.
I would love some helpful hints on decorating or great online places to find great pieces.

Like I stated last week I went to Richmond and I had a mini reunion with my college roommates.
We always have the best time together and this weekend was no exception.
The weather was unexpectedly hot, so I was quite warm walking around in my bulky sweater and ankle boots.
I love Richmond because it is such a relaxed place so this outfit was perfect for brunch and going out at night with everyone.
Why can't every night out be so chill?!

A simple date night look I am eager to wear this fall.
My boyfriend and I live about an hour from each other and have been beyond busy this fall with life.  
We haven't had too much time to just spend together and this outfit makes me excited for a nice date night in the near future.
I have been opting to wear pants for everything recently, and I love a good classic look for nice dinner with my guy.

I wore this outfit multiple times last weekend and most likely will be repeating it again this weekend.

I'm on the go this weekend and I need a simple, comfortable, warm, cute outfit to get around in.

I will be traveling to Lynchburg to visit my sister & to Richmond to visit my college roommates.

I'm sure by Sunday I will be exhausted, but well worth it.

I have been a long time shopper of Piperlime and their wide selection.
I can always find something within my budget or wishfully browse their designer pieces.
AND they have the best sales around.
When I discovered they created their own line of clothes my first thoughts were 
1. FINALLY! and  2. Can I have everything?!

This dress is probably the softest lace material I have ever felt.
The slip is actually sewn into the zipper so it doesn't awkwardly move when you wear it.
Genius. 
The quality and the design of the Piperlime Collection did not disappoint and
I can't wait to add a few more pieces into my fall/winter rotation.

I feel like this week my outfits have been a little different than what I normally wear and post.  

Though my boyfriend hears me complain how "I have nothing to wear!" too often, it is rarely the case.

What I haven't had lately is a rush of new items coming in and that makes me get creative with what I have hidden in the dark places of my closet.

These mixed weather Fall days are perfect (when the temps are 65+) and are just nice to enjoy walking around enjoying the scenery.  

I have found this outfit to perfectly depict my entire fall mentality:

R E L A X.

I am not a person to stress or do "too much" but after a summer full of running around to different engagements I am happy that I get to finally relax.

No one to impress.  No real plans.  

Just being comfortable and going with the flow and this is my kind of outfit to do exactly that in.

After seeing everyone and their mom sporting destroyed black skinnies on my instagram feed a few weeks ago I got in my car, drove to Madewell, and bought these babies. 

I am so glad I took the dive because when I haven't been in work clothes I have been living in them.
